I’ve been exhibiting my art nationally and internationally since 1996. That’s 29 years!
My style has undergone many changes since my first exhibition in 1996. I started as an outsider in the Indian Fine Art world and I had no mentors or lobbies, so had to teach myself all that I know today. And at some point in this journey, my work was auctioned by Christie’s, multiple times.
Essentially, there are 2 types of Visual Art: Abstract or Non-Representational and Figurative or Representational.
The challenge faced by Artists starting out, Interior Designers, Architects and Art Collectors is How to Understand Abstract Art, so that they can make informed decisions.
I get a lot of DMs with questions about Abstract Art…What’s good? What’s bad? And a lot of What does it mean?
Why is this splash of colours so expensive? What or Who should I buy?
The answer to this question is really not simple, because you need a large knowledge base to be able to make the right decisions about Abstract Art. Whether you want to know if your art is good enough, or whether the art you’re buying for yourself or your client is good enough for the asking price. And why the price is what it is.
And to add to that, the art world is a maze that is not easy to navigate.
Over the years, I’ve been teaching on various aspects of fine art through my Instagram reels, videos and lives.
I thought it would be easier to have all the information that everyone needs in one place, in a step-by-step format, so that you can access it at your own time.
And, more importantly, it will save Artists, Designers and Collectors at least a decade of trial and error and loads of money spent on gaining that experience by making mistakes!
That is why I created this course.
